Jesus came to set us free

As we celebrate the 250th anniversary of the United States of America, there are many Prophetic voices hearing from Yahweh about what He is saying to us as a nation and as His church.  I believe God would desire this to be a great time of celebration of freedom.  The Bible says,  “ Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty [emancipation from bondage, true freedom].” 2 Corinthians 3:17

“It was for this freedom that Christ set us free [completely liberating us]; therefore, keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery [which you once removed]”.  Galatians 5:1

Jesus came to set us free from all captivity of the enemy, yet mankind has followed other paths that repeatedly brought many back into captivity.  God has always desired for us to walk in His light and path to freedom and wholeness, individually and corporately and as a nation.  As we remember that this nation was formed by those seeking freedom, let us remember that we serve a God of covenant.  His covenant purposes brought Israel out of Egyptian captivity, but they repeatedly fell back into captivity through idolatry.  Let us not be deceived but receive the revelation of how God desires to move us up and through and into His Kingdom plans for us individually and for this nation. 

Below is a dream that I feel illustrates how the Lord is moving us in this time. 

DREAM 6-29-26

I was in a large complex business building with many rooms.  It was very light with light wood and lots of glass windows and doors.  I was with Jesus following Him upstairs through doors.  As I came to one level I saw a snake on the steps.  I stepped through a glass door, Jesus shut it and dealt with the snake.  We proceeded up more steps into another level where I saw a lion coming up the steps.  Jesus closed the glass door removed the lion and we kept moving up.  Another level and I saw another larger snake coming up the stairs at me.  It was black on its back, looking like a King snake which is not harmful to humans, but kills mice and rodents.  BUT as I went through the glass door it rose up and the stomach area looked like human skin with tattoos all over it.  I rebuked it and realized it was a deceptive spirit.  Jesus closed the door and dealt with it.  Finally, we are going up another level of stairs and I see another lion, but this one was young.  I looked at Jesus expecting Him to get rid of it and instead He said, this one is going to follow us and be transformed.  I was a little leery of the lion, concerned that he was going to try to attack us, but I knew if I stayed with Jesus, we should see transformation. When I woke up, I heard the scripture in Amos 3:8. The lion has roared! Who will not fear? The Lord God has spoken [to the prophets]! Who can but prophesy?

My interpretation:

I am in a structure - I believe I represent the bride of Christ or the Body of Christ, and possibly our nation.  We are moving with Jesus into higher places.  The structure seemed heavenly but with earthly applications advancing with the Lord in the Kingdom of God in the earth. We were ascending in worship.   With each level there is an enemy lurking to attack.  As I keep moving with Jesus through the doors that He is leading me through, I see the enemies, but He closes the doors and removes them.  The third snake is a "King snake" but with human skin with many tattoos.  This makes me believe he is in a higher-ranking demonic force used to deceive through humans who have allowed themselves to be marked for demonic use.  The last lion is one that is chosen by God to be transformed into the Kingdom of light to follow and be discipled into the prophetic voice in the earth at this time.  There were 4 levels, I believe that may represent the next 4 months as we move through how the Lord is restructuring our nation.  It could also represent 4 years.  As we stay connected to Holy Spirit moving forward and up in worship we will be able to see how the enemy is moving as well and see how Jesus wants to deal with it. 

Father,

Thank You for your revelation.  Please give us greater discernment to discern what and where the enemy is in our path as we walk with You to bring Your Kingdom to earth to see the harvest come into Your Kingdom and be discipled.  Thank You for clarity and for Your Holy Spirit guidance in navigating in this time of transition into the greater call for us all.  We thank You for Your Holy Spirit, who leads us into all truth! 

We pray all of this in the Holy name of the One who set us free, Jesus Christ.  AMEN.
